Nina & Kasper
A beautiful Scandinavian couple, Nina and Kasper, have finally said yes to each other in a wedding ceremony held in Dronningmølle, that tidy seaside resort up north in the Capital Region of Denmark. The ceremony took place in nature, close to the North Sea’s beach.
After the ceremony we gathered everyone for a set of big group photos, a lineup of smiling faces and well-meaning relatives. Then, as tradition dictates, guests helped themselves to a glass of champagne and a generous slice of cake—fuel, apparently, for the private session that followed.
The private photoshoot offered a quieter, almost reluctant kind of joy. We wandered between the mini-forest and the shoreline, making the most of the trees’ awkward shapes and the light that threaded through them. The raw, somewhat stark surroundings did most of the work for us; against that plain backdrop we managed to catch genuine moments of Nina and Kasper’s happiness. It was real, and in that honest simplicity the day found its own kind of beauty.
