In this article, we explain what a client needs to do to make a booking for their wedding day.
First, a potential client needs to contact us by email, website chat, or phone and tell us their wedding date. If the date is available, we continue the booking process by establishing a face-to-face or online video meeting so that we can get to know each other and find out the details of itinerary and plans for the day. During the meeting, we determine exactly how much photo/video coverage time the client wants for their wedding day (e.g., four hours, ten hours), the package that best fits their needs and any extra costs ( e.g., extra transport time). The client can also tell us if there are any extras that they want added to the package (e.g., extra coverage besides the package, specific type of editing). Finally, after the meeting, when we have calculated the honorarium, we send a written agreement and an invoice for the deposit (50 per cent of the honorarium) to the client by email.
Once the client has accepted the agreement and paid the deposit, we officially confirm, again by email, that our services have been booked for their wedding date.
